The bust is made from chalk plaster, paper stickers are attached to denote the areas of the skull as per the pseudoscience of Phrenology.
Incised and painted label to the rear, with its original paper label.
The bust looks to have been coated with something to preserve it historically.
The paper labels to the skull have also been covered but traces of the original writing can be seen.
Very good antique condition. Small area of wear to the nose.
14 cm tall.
7 cm wide.
6 cm deep.
