The book rest is intricately carved with dragons and other Chinese motifs. Traces of the original gilding remain.
The book rest folds flat when not in use.
There are two shorter drawers over one longer drawer.
There are also several calligraphy scrolls included.
Very good antique condition, with some age and use related wear.
