A beautiful antique Indian hand carved and painted Tikka box.
Modelled with a peacock, the lid slides to the side to reveal interior compartments, which would have held pigments and pastes. Used for Tikka marks to the forehead at Hindu festivals.
Very good antique condition. Some minor age and use related wear.
