Circa 1830's.
Elm wood and veneer construction.
White brass fittings and locks.
Has its key.
Comes apart into 3 pieces: two chests and a stand.
The locks and stand may not be original to the chests, but are also antique.
Has a certificate of authentication from its purchase in South Korea in 1981.
Very good antique condition. Minor signs of wear and use. There is a scratch on the top of the bottom chest, small veneer lifts in a couple of places, the interior shows cosmetic signs of use, Holes have been drilled in it at  some point, these are not visible when together and displayed.
