A very unusual pair of antique silver earrings.
Plain sterling silver discs surmounted with and American Naval Insignia.
Screw back fastenings, also marked sterling.
I feel these earrings are sweetheart or memorial in nature and possibly could have been made from dress uniform buttons / cuff links. Especially as they are presented in a heart shaped box.
1.8 cm diameter.
Very good antique condition.
