Print making in ink is Ono's medium of choice, and he has adapted this technique to expand the possibility of print. He creates print screens comprised of myriad dots, then print these over again often 60-100 times changing colors and resulting in countless pillars of ink. By planting these pillars on scull or on cicada shell, he creates sculptural works as well. He has also created installation work in Inujima. an island near his hometown, and thus enlarged the expression of his own.
